Our most recent project was creating a painting of an animal of our choice using materials we were introduced to. I decided to do a butterfly and I kind of used "Yin-Yang" as an inspiration to my background. As you can see in the photo, the left side has a white background with black branches, but on the contrary , the right side has a black background with white branches.

Today in Art, we had the assignment of drawing objects that are in front of, also known as a Still Life. We were told to incorperate something meaningful to us. I decided to draw a cube into my Still Life, and in that cube it said "Atlanta". That cube holds meaning to me because Atlanta is where I was born and raised. The still life assignment was inspired by many artists that we learned about in class.
